Walnut Chest

Walnut Chippendale chest of unsophisticated proportions, simple lines, narrow molding around the top. Two small top drawers, three drawers below. Original brasses. Southern pine as secondary wood. Thought to be of local origin.

Dimensions: Height, 43 1/2”; width, 39 1/2”; depth, 19 1/4”

Estimated date: 1750 to 1775.
